Doubles Duo presents a selection of contemporary music arranged for the unique instrumentation of oboe (Jillian Honn) and double bass (Zack Merkovsky).  

Jillian holds principal positions with the Cape Symphony, Chamber Orchestra of New York and the Lake Placid Sinfonietta, and has been a guest musician with groups such as the International Contemporary Ensemble, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra of St. Luke’s. She is the operations manager for Contemporaneous, a New York City-based contemporary ensemble.

Zack is the double bassist for the West Point Band, as well as a member of the Allentown Symphony Orchestra. He has appeared with the North Carolina Symphony, Albany Symphony Orchestra, Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, Princeton Symphony, Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players and New York Classical Players, among others.
